In line with its corporate social responsibility strategy and commitment to supporting local communities, the Arab Potash Company (APC) has provided 1,000 school bags fully equipped with stationery to schools under the Directorate of Education in the Southern Jordan Valley at the start of the new academic year.

APC Chairman of the Board, Eng. Shhada Abu Hdeib, emphasized that education is a top priority for the company, describing it as an essential investment in Jordan’s future and in building human capital capable of driving the country’s development. He stressed the company’s dedication to prioritizing the local communities surrounding its operations in Karak and the Southern Jordan Valley, and praised its strong partnership with the Ministry of Education as a model of effective public-private collaboration.

For his part, Director of Education for the Southern Jordan Valley, Mr. Odeh Al-Dharabeh, expressed gratitude to APC for its generous support, noting that the initiative eases financial burdens on families and equips students with the tools they need to begin their school year with confidence and hope.

This initiative is part of APC’s broader CSR strategy, which focuses on supporting long-term development sectors including education, healthcare, community empowerment, and environmental protection — reflecting the company’s firm commitment to sustainable national development.
