Royal Court Chief Yousef Hassan Aysawi on Thursday sponsored a festival organized by the Zubi tribes of the northern region, reaffirming their loyalty and support for His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II.
The event, attended by Irbid Governor Radwan Al-Atoom and moderated by Dr. Adnan Al-Zoubi, highlighted the tribes’ pride in the Hashemite leadership and its historic role in safeguarding Jordan and defending Arab causes, particularly the Palestinian cause and Jerusalem.
Speakers praised the sacrifices of the Jordanian Armed Forces and security agencies in preserving Jordan’s security and stability, describing the Kingdom as a beacon of peace, justice, and humanity.
Dr. Khaled Al-Zoubi stressed that the Hashemites have carried a legacy of sacrifice and service to the Arab and Islamic causes, noting His Majesty’s firm defense of Palestinian rights in international forums, and reiterating that no just peace is possible without an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
He cited Jordan’s humanitarian and political stances, including the Hashemite airdrops of aid into Gaza, as evidence of the Kingdom’s steadfast commitment to justice and solidarity, adding that Jordan will remain resilient against Zionist ambitions and settlement schemes.
Other speakers emphasized the Hashemite leadership’s focus on empowering youth through political, economic, and administrative modernization programs. They welcomed Crown Prince Al Hussein’s decision to reinstate national service as a key step in instilling values of belonging, discipline, and responsibility among young Jordanians.
Retired Major General Dr. Ali Murshid Al-Zoubi, speaking on behalf of military retirees, reaffirmed their unwavering loyalty to the King and homeland, stressing that loyalty and belonging are lived duties, not just slogans. He praised His Majesty’s courageous defense of Palestine and Jerusalem, underscoring the historic Hashemite Custodianship of Islamic and Christian holy sites.
Meanwhile, Ramtha Sports Club President Khaled Samarah Al-Zoubi highlighted the King’s continued support for Jordanian sports and youth, crediting royal patronage with driving national and regional achievements in athletics.
The festival featured a video presentation titled “A Nation’s Story” showcasing Jordan’s journey under Hashemite leadership, as well as traditional folkloric performances and patriotic songs expressing pride in Jordan and its leadership.
