Amman Ahliyya, Arab Global Investors Forum agree to boost research, academic cooperation

Amman Ahliyya University President Sari Hamdan met Thursday with a delegation from the Arab Global Investors Forum led by Chairman Michel Fayek Al-Sayegh.

The delegation included board member and CEO Nazem Mohammad Al-Sabbagh, board member and head of the Centre for Strategic Studies and Consultations Eng. Maysaa Bataineh, board member and legal adviser Dr. Mahasen Jaghoub, R&D adviser and member of the Arab Scientists and Researchers Network Dr. Hanan Issa Malkawi, and executive director Feryal Khaled Al-Khatib.

From the university side, Dean of the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences Ghaleb Areeqat and researcher Dr. Mohammad Malkawi attended.

The delegation toured the university’s research centres, including the Faculty of Dentistry and its advanced laboratories.

Both sides discussed prospects for cooperation, agreeing to sign a partnership covering joint scientific seminars, knowledge exchange in research, development and strategic consultancy to support higher education, investment and innovation in the Arab world.

The Forum said the move aligns with its strategy to strengthen ties with leading academic institutions and contribute to sustainable development and a knowledge-based economy.
