Amman – Arab Bank has announced the launch of a new promotional campaign targeting holders of its travel credit card, Visa Travel Mate, designed specifically to meet the needs of travelers whether for business, tourism, or study.

The campaign, running until September 30, 2025, offers customers free card issuance with no commission, in addition to free travel insurance worth up to 50 Jordanian dinars when issuing the card during the campaign period.

The Visa Travel Mate card is a multi-currency card, allowing holders to pay in more than 30 countries using eight currencies — USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, TRY, AED, SAR, and BHD — without foreign exchange commission. This feature makes it easier for customers to spend abroad without additional costs or prior currency conversions.

Commenting on the campaign, Mr. Yacoub Matouk, Head of Retail Banking at Arab Bank – Jordan, said:

> “At Arab Bank, we are committed to enhancing our programs in innovative ways that align with our customers’ evolving needs and lifestyles. The Visa Travel Mate card is one of our standout offerings, granting clients the freedom to pay in eight different currencies worldwide without exchange commission, ensuring a smooth and simple travel experience.”

Arab Bank credit cards also provide cardholders with a wide range of benefits, including global usability, easy account access through the Arabi Mobile app and Arabi Online banking platform, as well as year-round promotional offers — reinforcing the bank’s commitment to delivering a comprehensive banking experience that meets customers’ needs both locally and internationally.
