The selling price of a gram of 21 carat gold, on Saturday morning, amounted to 40 dinars for the purpose of purchasing from Al-Sagha stores, compared to 38.40 dinars for the sale.
According to the first daily bulletin issued by the General Syndicate for the owners of trading and crafting jewelry stores, the selling price of one gram of 24 and 18 karat gold, for the purposes of purchasing from goldsmiths’ shops, reached 46.50 and 35.80 dinars, respectively.
Rebhi Allan, head of the Syndicate of Trade and Jewelery Shop Owners, told Al-Mamlaka that gold closed at $1978 an ounce, and is a stable price compared to Thursday.
And he indicated that the price of the English pound amounted to 325 dinars, and the Rashadi lira 285 dinars.
According to Allan, the supply in the local markets is currently good and the demand is weak.
