Fadi Atrash, representative of the therapeutic industries and medical supplies sector at Jordan Chamber of Industry, said His Majesty’s visit to Kazakhstan paves the way for Jordanian pharmaceutical and medical supplies companies to strengthen their presence there and benefit from available opportunities in this vital sector.

He praised His Majesty’s efforts to support the national economy and build trade and investment partnerships with new blocs, particularly Central Asia, starting with Kazakhstan, which he described as Jordan’s closest partner in the Arab world.

Atrash noted that His Majesty’s attendance at the closing session of the Jordan–Kazakhstan Business Forum forms a solid foundation for strong partnerships between Jordanian and Kazakh companies in pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.

He added that 19 Jordanian companies specialising in human and veterinary medicines and medical supplies took part in the forum to explore major opportunities in the Kazakh market.

He also highlighted a workshop that brought together Jordanian companies producing medicines, medical supplies and food supplements with Kazakhstan’s National Authority for Drug and Medical Supplies Registration to learn about market size, registration requirements, timelines and related fees.
