Ministry of Education Exams Director Mohammad Shehadeh said results for 2008 generation announced days ago showed 70% success rate.

Shehadeh told radio Monday students who failed one or more subjects still have chance to make up without delaying university admission through upcoming complementary and summer sessions.

He said ministry rules set passing mark at 40% of maximum score, but universities require 50% for admission.

Students wishing to enter community colleges need 40% minimum, he added.
