The head of the Cybercrime Unit at the Public Security Directorate, Lt. Col. Mahmoud Al-Maghayreh, said Tuesday that 5,258 financial fraud complaints had been filed with the unit up to this August.

He told Al-Mamlaka TV that last year the unit received 7,895 complaints related to online financial fraud cases.
