AMMAN – Gold prices in the local market rose Saturday by 60 qirsh per gram, according to the daily bulletin of the Jewellers Association.

The price of 21-carat gold, most in demand, reached JD72.4 per gram for sale at jewellers, compared with JD69.9 for purchase.

Prices per gram stood at JD82.4 for 24 carat, JD64.8 for 18 carat, and JD48.4 for 14 carat.
