Amman Chamber of Commerce issued 26,729 certificates of origin in the first 8 months of 2025, up 5.2% from 25,400 in the same period last year.

Chamber data showed the value of certificates dropped 9.3% to JD854m, compared with JD942m a year earlier.

Iraq topped importers with JD387m and 2,305 certificates, followed by Saudi Arabia JD71m (6,079 certificates), Egypt JD60m (699), Syria JD53m (2,644) and UAE JD47m (2,971).

By product type, exports included JD435m foreign goods, JD157m industrial, JD119m agricultural, JD74m Arab-origin, with the rest in other products.

The chamber issues certificates of origin for agricultural, animal and raw natural resources, re-exported foreign goods, and Jordanian industrial products under regulations of the 2009 Chamber of Commerce law and 2013 issuance instructions.
