Hamas said Saturday evening it is open to any ideas or proposals that ensure a permanent ceasefire, full withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, unconditional entry of aid, and a genuine prisoner exchange through serious negotiations with mediators.

In a press statement, the movement reaffirmed its commitment to the approval it announced with Palestinian factions on mediators’ ceasefire proposal on 18 August.
