Five Israelis were killed and 16 others wounded in a shooting carried out by two Palestinians at the Ramon junction in occupied Jerusalem on Monday.

Israel’s public broadcaster, citing emergency services, confirmed the deaths and said six of the injured were in serious condition.

Police said they had "neutralised" the attackers at the Ramot junction and closed the entrances to the city following the incident. — (Petra)
