Arab Bank has provided support to the annual “Back to School” campaign launched by Tkiyet Um Ali, aiming to supply school necessities for children of families benefiting from the organisation’s programs. The support reflects the bank’s commitment to social responsibility and creating a positive, sustainable impact on the community.

The campaign provides children aged 6–17 with school bags, stationery, uniforms, raincoats, and monthly food parcels, easing financial burdens and ensuring a stable start to the school year.

Bank staff participated in voluntary activities preparing and distributing school supplies across Jordan, highlighting the bank’s belief in the importance of volunteering and community support.

Tkiyet Um Ali currently provides monthly food aid to 20,000 families living below the food poverty line, delivering parcels throughout the year containing essential items to meet families’ nutritional needs.

Samir Balqar, Director General of Tkiyet Um Ali, said: “We value our continued cooperation with Arab Bank, reflecting a strong belief in solidarity to achieve positive impact. The bank’s support for the ‘Back to School’ campaign directly contributes to a better future for these children and underscores its role in sustainable development.”

Arab Bank’s comprehensive sustainability strategy under its “Together” program supports initiatives in education, health, poverty alleviation, environmental protection, women’s empowerment, and orphan care, in partnership with local community organisations.
