Continuing its leadership in higher education and research, the Board of Trustees at Middle East University, chaired by Dr. Yaqoub Naser Al-Din, approved the formation of the Deans’ Council for the 2025/2026 academic year, following the recommendation of President Prof. Dr. Salam Al-Mahadin and in line with the university’s strategic vision.

The Deans’ Council includes:

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Louzi – Vice President

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mousa – Dean of Graduate Studies and Research

Prof. Dr. Amjad Abu Ramila – Dean of Pharmacy

Prof. Dr. Qusai Shambour – Dean of IT

Prof. Dr. Ayman Al-Rfou’ – Acting Dean of Law

Dr. Ayman Awad – Acting Dean of Engineering and Design

Dr. Anas Al-Ashram – Acting Dean of Allied Medical Sciences

Dr. Samira Al-Habashneh – Acting Dean of Nursing

Dr. Hazem Al-Nasour – Acting Dean of Student Affairs

Dr. Ayat Al-Maghrabi – Acting Dean of Arts and Educational Sciences

Dr. Ramez Abu Hseira – Acting Dean of Media

Dr. Rania Al-Zu’amt – Acting Dean of Business


President Al-Mahadin also appointed Prof. Dr. Tamara Naser Al-Din and Dr. Salim Sharif as her assistants.

The appointments aim to modernise the university’s academic system in line with national and international developments and evolving labour market needs, supporting the institution’s long-term strategic vision.
