Iraqis ranked first in non-Jordanian property ownership in Jordan during the first 8 months of 2025 with 333 properties, followed by Saudis with 266, Syrians with 149, and Americans with 113, official data showed.

Total foreign property transactions reached 1,526, down 13% from the same period last year. These included 887 apartments (down 11%) and 639 plots of land (down 16%).

The estimated value of foreign-owned properties stood at JD 123.4 million, a 9% decline, with JD 78.3m (64%) in apartments and JD 45m (36%) in land.

By value, Iraqis also led with JD 46m (37% of total), followed by Americans with JD 13.8m (11%), Syrians with JD 9.3m (8%), and Saudis with JD 6.2m (5%).
