Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan on Wednesday held a phone call with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, affirming Jordan’s rejection and strong condemnation of Israeli attacks on Qatar.

Hassan said the assault constituted a violation of state sovereignty, international law, and a threat to regional security and stability. He reaffirmed Jordan’s solidarity with Qatar, stressing ‘Qatar’s security is Jordan’s security’.

He said any infringement on the sovereignty of Arab states is unacceptable, urging coordinated international action against Israel’s ongoing violations.
