Israel’s public broadcaster reported Friday that the United Arab Emirates summoned the Israeli ambassador following Tuesday’s Israeli strike targeting Hamas leaders in Doha.

No comment has yet been issued by the Emirati or Israeli foreign ministries.

Qatar condemned the Israeli attack, which targeted residential compounds housing members of Hamas’s political bureau in the Qatari capital, describing it as “cowardly,” according to a statement by the Qatari Foreign Ministry.
