Qatar’s Foreign Ministry spokesman and adviser to the Prime Minister Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari said the emergency Arab-Islamic summit hosted by Doha on Monday will discuss a draft resolution on the Israeli attack against Qatar, submitted by the preparatory meeting of Arab and Islamic foreign ministers scheduled for Sunday.

Al Ansari said the timing of the summit reflects Arab and Islamic solidarity with Qatar in the face of the ‘cowardly Israeli aggression’ that targeted residential compounds of Hamas leaders, stressing participating states’ rejection of Israel’s ‘state terrorism’.

The summit comes amid rapid regional developments and calls to unify Arab and Islamic positions against Israeli assaults.
