15 Sept 2025 – His Majesty King Abdullah II on Monday delivered Jordan’s address at the extraordinary Arab-Islamic summit in Doha, convened to discuss the Israeli attack on Qatar.

The King affirmed Jordan stands fully with Qatar, supporting any step it takes to confront the assault and safeguard its security and people.

“Qatar’s security is our security, its stability is our stability, and our support for you is absolute,” the King said, stressing that the Israeli strike on Doha came nearly two years after its brutal war on Gaza, during which Israel violated international law and human values.

He noted Israel’s illegal measures in the West Bank obstruct the two-state solution and prospects for a just peace, while continuing to threaten Lebanon and Syria — and now attacking Qatar’s sovereignty and security.

The King said Israel’s escalation stems from being allowed to act above the law, calling for a comprehensive review of Arab and Islamic joint action tools to counter the danger posed by Israel’s extremist government.

He urged the summit to adopt concrete decisions to confront the threat, stressing: “Our response must be clear, decisive, and deterrent.”
