Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday said displacement, extermination or partition of Palestinian people cannot be accepted.

Speaking at emergency Arab-Islamic summit in Doha on Israeli strike against Qatar, Erdogan stressed need to develop joint cooperation mechanisms among Islamic states.

He said economic pressure must be applied on Israel, noting past successes, and called for self-sufficiency and intensified cooperation across development sectors. He urged that Israeli officials be brought to justice under international law.

Erdogan added Israeli politicians are repeating “delusions” of so-called Greater Israel, saying Netanyahu’s government clearly seeks to continue massacres against Palestinians and drag region into chaos.

He expressed hope summit decisions will be translated into a written declaration to the world, warning Israeli aggression has now extended to Qatar, mediator and peace-seeker, and poses direct threat to region.
