Amman, 18 September 2025 – Labor Minister and Chairman of the Vocational Training Corporation, Dr. Khalid Al-Bakkar, honored Zain Jordan for its support of vocational training and youth employment, during a ceremony held at Amman Grand Hall, King Hussein Youth City. The event was attended by Youth Minister Dr. Raed Al-Adwan and Vocational Training Corporation Director General Dr. Ahmad Mufleh Al-Gharaibeh, and coincided with the signing of several cooperation agreements with the Vocational Training Corporation to qualify skilled human resources for local, regional, and international labor markets and contribute to achieving sustainable development goals.

The award, received by Zain Jordan Executive Director of Media, Communication, and Sustainability Tariq Al-Bitar, highlights the strategic partnership between Zain and the Vocational Training Corporation since 2008. This partnership has resulted in the establishment of Zain training centers for mobile device maintenance, electronic gaming devices, fiber optic technology, as well as Zain customer service call centers across several governorates.

Zain expressed pride in the long-standing partnership with the Vocational Training Corporation, which has supported thousands of Jordanian youth over the past 17 years. The company reaffirmed its commitment to continue playing a leading role in corporate social responsibility, supporting national development, and empowering youth to enter the labor market.

Zain’s initiatives provide high-quality training opportunities for both male and female youth, aligned with evolving labor market requirements. Training centers are located in Zarqa, Tafila, Karak, Salt, Irbid, and Wadi Al-Seer – UNRWA College for Palestinian refugees, in addition to Zain customer service centers in Tafila, Jerash, Ajloun, Deir Alla, Ma’an, Madaba, and Salt.

To date, over 1,500 graduates (1,179 males and 388 females) from Zain training centers within the Vocational Training Corporation have achieved a 60% employment rate. More than 2,000 youth have graduated from all Zain centers nationwide, many working in mobile device maintenance or running their own businesses, while Zain call centers have provided 105 permanent job opportunities across host governorates.

Through its extended partnership with the Vocational Training Corporation, Zain continues to contribute to sustainable development by investing in human capital and preparing skilled professionals to strengthen the national economy and meet sectoral needs.

The company reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Jordanian youth through training, employment, and career development programs, enabling them to build sustainable professional paths, improve living standards, and play an active role in community service, while preparing a new generation of national talents capable of competing across sectors and contributing to a stronger, more sustainable national economy.
