The Board of the Jordanian Universities Sports Union unanimously decided to transfer its headquarters from the University of Jordan to Middle East University after the expiry of UJ’s hosting term.

UJ President and Union President Prof Nathir Obeidat officially handed over the union’s flag to MEU President Prof Salam Al-Mahadin in a symbolic ceremony reflecting cooperation among higher education institutions.

Al-Mahadin praised UJ’s role in advancing university sports during its term, stressing MEU’s commitment to strengthening partnerships between public and private universities and empowering students through sports and extracurricular activities.

The decision recognises MEU’s active support for student activities, modern facilities, and dedication to youth empowerment, making it a suitable host for the union’s next phase.
