Abu Jamal, spokesman for the "Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades," the military arm of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, announced that the "brigades" had adopted the last two operations in Hawara, south of Nablus, in the West Bank.
Abu Jamal said, "We will carry out more operations and let the occupation do whatever it wants, and we challenge it."
He added, in a video statement published by the account of the Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades via "Telegram": "Not a week goes by that we do not throw fire or explosive devices, but declaring our responsibility for it is left to the circumstances and the estimates of our comrades in the leadership of the brigades."
He continued, "We will remain silent in the graves about adopting commando operations if we feel that the interest of our people requires that, but we will not delay, and we will not back down or hesitate in announcing an operation that we feel that our people need that."
Abu Jamal stated, "The commando operations have increased in the West Bank as a result of the long, bloody, arduous and costly effort of our brothers and comrades in the resistance factions, including the Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades."
He stated that the "Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades" are present in the West Bank at all times, and the occupation's allegations of dismantling our cells in the West Bank indicate that we are present.
He explained that there are many operations carried out by the brigades in the West Bank and Jerusalem, and some of them were announced under other names due to the nature of the security situation, and because we are not looking for "media distortion."
And he indicated that the "Ain Bubin operation" was carried out by the brigades and they did not announce it, indicating that one of their comrades was harshly interrogated and did not confess, and it is one of the operations that we can reveal.
He stressed that they are a military arm of a combative party, and they have no accounts other than fighting the enemy.
He stated that the recent operations in the West Bank made the Israeli security establishment question a lot about its role in preventing the resistance.
