The Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan on Sunday, approved the 2025 Regulation for Jordanian Travel and Tourism Offices and Companies to encourage investment in the tourism sector, simplify classification procedures, reduce financial guarantees for certain categories, and abolish licences issued by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.

The regulation defines office categories, classification criteria, services offered, and related obligations for each category.

The Cabinet also approved the 2025 Regulation for Tour Guide Services to regulate the profession, set related conditions, and establish classification categories and requirements for obtaining each level.

The regulation also outlines the obligations of licensed tour guides and cases in which temporary permits may be granted.
