U.S. President Donald Trump said Sunday that ongoing talks with Hamas to end Israel’s war in Gaza and secure the release of detainees are making rapid progress.

“The talks have been very successful and are moving quickly. Technical teams will meet again Monday in Egypt to discuss and finalise remaining details. I’ve been informed that the first phase is set to be completed this week, and I urge everyone to move swiftly,” Trump wrote on social media.
