King Abdullah II Departs for Official Visit to Sweden

Amman – King Abdullah II left Jordan on Monday for an official visit to the Kingdom of Sweden.

On Tuesday, His Majesty will hold talks in Stockholm with King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and meet Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson.

The visit underscores the strong friendship between Jordan and Sweden, aims to enhance cooperation across multiple fields, and includes discussions on regional developments and paths to peace.

Crown Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein assumed the constitutional duties of the King during his absence, in the presence of the Cabinet.
