Gold hits new record highs, reaching JD80.70 per gram locally

Amman – Gold prices continued to rise in the local market on Tuesday morning, reaching new record levels. The selling price of 21-carat gold, the most popular among citizens, climbed to JD80.7 per gram, while the buying price stood at JD77.6.

According to the daily bulletin issued by the General Association for Owners of Jewellery Shops, prices for other types also rose, with 24-, 18-, and 14-carat gold selling at JD92.40, JD71.50, and JD54.30 per gram, respectively.
