AMMAN — Head of the National Charter Party bloc in Parliament, MP Dr Ibrahim Tarawneh, said the bloc held a meeting Monday with the Minister of Planning and the ministerial team to discuss foreign grants and their allocation across sectors and governorates to ensure fair and comprehensive development.

Tarawneh said the minister presented a detailed briefing on the grant mechanisms and funded projects, noting that specialised government committees set clear priorities based on the financial and developmental needs of each governorate.

He told Rum that discussions during the meeting were reassuring and positive, adding that MPs raised several inquiries, particularly about ensuring full collection of the approved grants in the state budget.

Tarawneh confirmed that the bloc received assurances the 2025 grants will be fully included in the national budget, praising the government’s efforts to ensure fairness in distributing projects and grants across the Kingdom.
