AMMAN – Euromoney magazine has named Arab Bank the Best Bank for Social Responsibility in the Middle East for 2025, recognising its achievements in sustainability and community engagement.
The London-based financial magazine selected Arab Bank following a comprehensive evaluation by expert panels, independent research, and editorial assessment, highlighting the bank’s measurable social impact across the region.
The award, given to only one institution in the Middle East, honours banks with the most influential and data-driven community initiatives. Arab Bank was chosen for setting new social responsibility goals, launching impactful projects benefiting both employees and communities, and maintaining transparent annual reporting on the economic and social outcomes of its initiatives.
The recognition reflects Arab Bank’s commitment to sustainability and its role in empowering communities through its regional branch network. It also underlines the bank’s leadership in integrating economic, environmental, and social responsibility into its core strategy.
In 2024, Arab Bank also received the Corporate Social Responsibility in the Middle East award from EMEA Finance, recognising its efforts in ESG practices, green financing, digital transformation, and SME support.
