Amman – Amman Al-Ahliyya University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the human rights organization Rain Collective Ltd to strengthen cooperation in combating human trafficking and building effective partnerships that enhance community awareness.
The MoU was signed by Prof. Ahmad Hamdan, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, on behalf of the university, and Jason Bop, Founder and CEO of Rain Collective. The ceremony was attended by Prof. Asid Dhnibat, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Dr. Hamza Al-Ayaida, Assistant Dean for Graduate Studies.
The agreement reflects the university’s commitment to its national and humanitarian responsibilities, aiming to build collaboration based on mutual respect, professionalism, and ethics, while bridging knowledge and practice gaps through the integration of academic expertise and field efforts.
Prof. Hamdan emphasized that the MoU demonstrates the university’s dedication to its humanitarian and social role in raising awareness and combating negative societal phenomena.
Jason Bop expressed pride in the collaboration, praising the university’s academic and community efforts in supporting humanitarian causes.
The MoU focuses on protecting human dignity and preventing human trafficking through joint initiatives including training programs, applied research, and awareness campaigns designed to empower communities, support victims, and promote a culture of human rights.
