The French presidency announced that President Emmanuel Macron will visit Egypt on Monday to support efforts to implement the Gaza peace plan brokered by U.S. President Donald Trump.

It added that Macron will reaffirm Paris’s support for the two-state solution and long-term regional stability, noting that he will discuss with regional partners the next steps for implementing the plan and strengthening peace in Gaza and the region.
