Ahliyya Amman University achieved a remarkable milestone, ranking first among Jordanian universities and within the 401–500 global bracket in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2026, one of the world’s most prestigious academic assessments.

The achievement reflects the university’s strategic vision in advancing research, enhancing education quality, and strengthening international collaboration, underscoring its growing academic stature in Jordan and the region.

University President Prof. Sari Hamdan and Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr. Maher Hourani said the progress highlights the university’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and creativity, noting that investing in research and distinguished faculty was key to achieving this milestone.

The university delegation attending the results ceremony included Dr. Maher Hourani, Prof. Sari Hamdan, Prof. Ahmad Samid Abu Arabi (Dean of Scientific Research), Dr. Ahmad Mansour (Director of the Sustainability and International Ranking Center), and Eng. Ahmad Maher Hourani.
