Meteorology: Mild temperatures, rain expected in some areas

Raed Rafid Al-Khatab, Director of the Meteorology Department, told Rum that Sunday will be mild in most areas and moderate in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with low-level clouds appearing.

He added that light rain showers are expected in the evening across parts of northern Jordan. Winds will be northwesterly, moderate, occasionally gusty.

At night, temperatures will be cool in most areas and mild in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with low clouds and moderate northwesterly winds. Al-Khatab warned of reduced horizontal visibility early in the morning due to fog over high mountain areas and some plains, as well as dust in desert regions, and slippery roads in areas experiencing rain.

For Monday, the weather is expected to remain mild in most areas, moderate in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with some low clouds and moderate northwesterly winds. Night temperatures will be cool in most areas and mild in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with light variable winds.

On Tuesday, temperatures will rise slightly, remaining mild in most areas and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with moderate easterly winds. At night, temperatures will be cool in most areas and mild in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with light northwesterly winds. Dust may reduce visibility in desert regions.
