Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan stressed the need to intensify efforts to operate Amman Civil Airport in Marka before the end of this year.

During his visit to the airport, Hassan underlined the importance of coordination among all parties to ensure full readiness, efficient operation and management, and fulfilment of all necessary requirements for the airport to begin serving passengers to the highest standards.

He also emphasised the need to provide public transport services for travellers to facilitate movement to and from the airport and to ensure smooth departure and arrival procedures once operations begin.
