Kremlin says Russian President Vladimir Putin meets Wednesday with Syrian President Ahmad Sharaa, who is on a working visit to Moscow.

This marks Sharaa’s first visit to Russia since opposition factions led by him ousted Moscow ally Bashar al-Assad last year.
