Gold prices hit record highs locally

Gold prices in Jordan continued rising Wednesday, with 21-carat gold selling at 85.7 JOD per gram at jewellery shops, compared with 82.7 JOD for purchase.

According to the daily bulletin from the General Association of Jewellery and Precious Metals Shops, prices for 24-, 18-, and 14-carat gold rose to 98.1 JOD, 75.9 JOD, and 57.7 JOD per gram, respectively, for selling purposes.
