Middle East University has announced the adoption of its new strategic vision, mission, and objectives — a move described as a pioneering step toward 2030 that reflects the university’s commitment to enhancing institutional and academic excellence while expanding its social impact locally and regionally under its 2025–2030 plan.
The initiative comes as part of MEU’s ongoing efforts to modernize its educational and administrative systems in line with national and global developments and evolving labour market needs.
The university’s new vision states: “A leading and influential university locally and regionally,” while its mission focuses on “preparing graduates who meet local and global labour market demands, promoting impactful applied scientific research, serving the community, and developing international academic partnerships.”
The university also identified the following strategic goals: sustainable human capital, advanced teaching and learning processes, an entrepreneurial learning environment, digital transformation, impactful applied research, community service and sustainable development, institutional identity and reputation, and sustainable financial efficiency.
University President Prof. Salam Al-Mahadin said the new vision aims to strengthen MEU’s position as a leading academic hub contributing to the nation’s progress and prosperity, noting that the coming phase will bring qualitative shifts in education, research, and community engagement to prepare future-ready professionals and reinforce the university’s leadership role.
