US President Donald Trump on Sunday accused nuclear-armed states, including Russia and China, of conducting underground nuclear tests without disclosing them.
In an interview with CBS’s 60 Minutes, Trump defended his recent order for the Pentagon to resume testing, saying: “Russia is testing, China is testing, but they don’t talk about it.”
He added: “No one necessarily knows where they’re doing it… They’re doing it underground, where people can’t tell what’s happening with these tests.”
