Ajarmeh visited the hospital to check on teachers and students from a private school in Amman who suffered shortness of breath after an ammonia leak Sunday morning.
Doctors confirmed all patients are in good condition except one student with asthma.
He praised the efforts of medical staff and Civil Defence teams for their quick response and professionalism in handling the incident.
University District Education Director Mazen Hadeers told Al Mamlaka that 14 cases were reported due to the leak, adding that a committee will be formed to follow up on the incident and review laboratory safety procedures.
