Amman Ahliyya University signed a memorandum of cooperation with the First Company for Paper and Cardboard Recycling to introduce new concepts and initiatives in waste management from the source, aiming to reduce solid waste generated by community activities and promote environmental sustainability practices on campus.
The memorandum was signed by University President Prof. Sari Hamdan and the company’s Vice Chairman Murad Waleed Nasr, in the presence of Planning and Development Director Muqdam Arabiat.
Prof. Hamdan said the agreement aligns with the university’s vision to strengthen environmental sustainability and social responsibility, highlighting its ongoing efforts to an eco-friendly campus through sustainable practices in waste reduction and recycling.
Nasr expressed pride in the partnership, noting that the initiative marks a key step toward promoting recycling and sustainable waste management in educational institutions, raising environmental awareness, and supporting sustainable development efforts in Jordan.
