His Majesty emphasized Jordan's keenness to expand partnerships with Singapore in trade, investment, education, water, public sector management, energy, and defense cooperation.
The meeting addressed Middle East developments. His Majesty stressed the necessity of exerting maximum efforts to ensure compliance with implementing the Gaza war-ending agreement and ending escalation in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
The King expressed appreciation for Singapore's role in the humanitarian response in Gaza, highlighting the need to sustain Jordan-Singapore cooperation in this field.
The meeting, attended by HRH Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad, Chief Advisor for Religious and Cultural Affairs and Personal Envoy, confirmed that achieving peace according to the two-state solution is the only way to end the conflict in the region.
Discussions also touched on the importance of supporting Syria and Lebanon's efforts to preserve their security, stability, and territorial sovereignty.
