Architecture Engineering Department at MEU’s Faculty of Engineering and Design launched “Architecture Club” to enhance campus life, support experience-sharing, organise initiatives, competitions and activities, and strengthen links between students, graduates and professionals, reinforcing the department’s academic identity and connection to the architectural community.
Launch came during an orientation event for new students, attended by Dean Ayman Awad, department head Mohammad Hamdan, faculty and administrative staff, and a large group of students.
Dean Awad outlined the faculty’s vision, achievements and partnership tracks, stressing the importance of student engagement in architectural initiatives as a core part of the university experience.
Event included a showcase of student work, projects and architectural activities. Graduates and award-winning students shared experiences and success stories from local and international competitions.
Meeting concluded with honouring top students and winners of engineering and architectural competitions at local and global levels.
