Middle East University honoured students who won first place in the Future Health Impact Hackathon, as well as those who represented the university in the 3rd Asian Universities Debating Championship in Oman.
Ceremony was sponsored by university president Salam Al-Mahadin, in the presence of Dean of Student Affairs Hazem Al-Nusour, Dean of Law Ayman Al-Rafou', and Dean of Media Ramez Abu Haseera.
Al-Mahadin stressed that the honour reflects the university’s vision of an integrated system for student empowerment focused on developing analytical and research skills and enhancing competitiveness in global innovation spaces.
Al-Nusour noted that the university continues to adopt a strategic approach supporting extracurricular activities as an extension of the educational process, helping students build leadership, self-learning, expression and argumentation skills needed for the modern labour market.
Students honoured were: Shahd Al-Qaatbi, Karmel Al-Madi, Zaid Abu Zahra, Huthafa Abu Hassan, Mahmoud Hammam, Mahmoud Al-Khawalda and Anas Hassan.
