Middle East University hosts 7th Arabic Language Conference under theme ‘Digital transformation and AI: new visions for serving Arabic’. Event is held under patronage of Education Directorate head Aref Jariri, with attendance of university vice president Ahmad Al-Loozi and field specialists.
At opening session organised by Faculty of Arts and Educational Sciences and moderated by Yaqout Faisal, Jariri praises MEU for supporting conference and strengthening scientific and community initiatives.
Head of Arabic Department Hafiza Mahmoud affirms university’s commitment to enhancing linguistic activities and deepening academic partnership with Jiza Education Directorate to support Arabic and improve teaching methods.
Conference includes scientific session led by Nivin Al-Badawi, where experts present papers on advanced topics: ‘Siraj smart assistant’, ‘Arabic literature in digital world’, ‘digital transformation and literacy’, and ‘innovative practices in teaching Arabic’. Session features broad discussion on recommendations stressing need to Arabic-language tools to match rapid advances in digital transformation and AI, and strengthen educational institutions’ ability to adopt innovative technologies.
Conference concludes with honouring participants and presenting shields to MEU and Education Directorate in recognition of joint cooperation and organisational efforts.
