AMMAN — The Jordanian Islamic Al-Munasara Zakat Committee, in partnership with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, has carried out intensive humanitarian interventions since early 2026 to address basic needs amid worsening conditions in the Gaza Strip. Relief efforts included distributing 40,000 ready-made meals in several phases and 26,500 bundles of bread to support daily food security for affected families. In the water sector, 1,500 cubic meters of potable water were provided in response to the ongoing water crisis. Field teams also delivered 4,500 tarpaulins to displaced families, offering protection from cold and rain. These interventions reflect a coordinated humanitarian partnership, ensuring aid reaches those in need while strengthening the resilience of Gaza’s population.
