The British Ambassador to Jordan, Philip Hall, announced new updates to the UK visa application process that take effect immediately for all applicants. According to a video published by the British Embassy Amman: The application process will remain online. After receiving the application reference number, applicants must a personal account on the UK Visas and Immigration platform (UK Visas and Immigration – UKVI). If the visa is approved: Travelers must log into their account to generate a Share Code, which becomes a mandatory requirement each time they intend to travel to the United Kingdom. The ambassador stated that the new system is designed to enhance security for both travelers and UK authorities. Additionally, visa stickers will no longer be placed in passports. Jordanian applicants will not need to leave their passports at visa application centers, making travel planning and procedures more convenient.
