The Jordanian Field Hospital Nablus/11 began operations on Sunday, receiving patients and providing medical services in Nablus as part of Jordan's ongoing humanitarian efforts to support the Palestinian healthcare sector.
The hospital's commander said the facility was launched in line with Royal directives and reflects Jordan's continued commitment to supporting the Palestinian people by delivering specialised medical care and helping alleviate the humanitarian and health challenges they face.
He said the hospital is staffed by qualified medical, nursing and technical personnel and is equipped to treat a wide range of medical conditions, helping strengthen healthcare services for residents of Nablus Governorate and nearby areas.
The facility includes specialist clinics in general medicine, internal medicine, surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, dermatology, ophthalmology, ear, nose and throat (ENT) and dentistry.
It features two major operating rooms, a minor operating room, two intensive care units, a laboratory, a radiology department, a sterilisation unit and a pharmacy, enabling it to provide comprehensive medical care.
Patients and residents of Nablus Governorate expressed appreciation for Jordan's continued support under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, praising the humanitarian and medical assistance provided by the Jordanian Armed Forces, which they said helps ease pressure on the local healthcare system.
The deployment of the Jordanian Field Hospital Nablus/11 is the latest in a series of medical and humanitarian initiatives undertaken by the Jordanian Armed Forces in the occupied West Bank, reaffirming Jordan's longstanding commitment to supporting the Palestinian people.
