Jordan’s Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (JIACC) has referred an employee from the Ministry of Agriculture to the public prosecutor after catching him in the act of accepting a bribe. The operation was initiated after a company representative visiting the ministry reported that the official demanded money in exchange for handing over processed official paperwork belonging to his company. Commission personnel tracked the incident and arrived at the specified handover location, apprehending the employee while receiving the payment.
