jordan pulse : Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan issued an official circular announcing a public holiday on Tuesday, August 25, in celebration of the anniversary of the Prophet’s Birthday (Mawlid al-Nabi).
The circular stipulates that all ministries, official departments, public institutions and authorities, public universities, municipalities, joint services councils, Greater Amman Municipality, and fully government-owned companies will suspend operations on the aforementioned day.
The directive excluded ministries, official departments, and institutions whose operational nature requires otherwise.
In commemoration of this blessed occasion, the Prime Minister called upon all ministries, official departments, and public institutions to contribute to highlighting this noble event in a manner befitting its significance.
