By Aram Al-Masri Member of Parliament Raed Ruba’ questioned the reasons why international certificate students who achieved a 100% GPA were denied admission to study medicine at the University of Jordan in recent years. Ruba’ argued that such policies force students to seek educational opportunities abroad, revealing that some students who scored 100% failed to secure admission to the University of Jordan. 'Why don't we invest in educational tourism? Why are we sending our money abroad?' Ruba’ stated, noting that students still desire to study medicine despite knowing that job opportunities are limited, asking: 'Why deny them?' He noted that during a visit to Germany, the Jordanian ambassador requested 1,000 Jordanian doctors to work there, adding: 'Why do you want to force our children abroad? Keep our money in our country and let them study whatever they want.' Source: Rum News Agency
